Dr. Liu Jinqian is an Associate Professor of Shanghai Academy of Social Sciences (SASS). He is also an Advisor on Anti-terror Affairs to Shanghai Municipality and Ministry of Public Security of PRC. He obtained the special Annual Award for China Development Studies ( how to propagandize China Image) from Shanghai Social Sciences Association. He was nominated by China Tibetology Research Center as a research member of the High-Level Group for China Association for Preservation and Development of Tibetan Culture. He has been doing research widely in International Security, Modern and Contemporary History of World, Tibet Issue, NGOs, the Color Revolutions among the CIS, Economy Cooperation around the Himalayas etc. He also published articles on a variety of topics such as The Key Issues on the Development of SCO, About the Construction of Soft Power and China’s Peaceful Development，the History of Terrorism and China Action etc.
