Dr. Chao Zhang is currently an Associate Professor with the Department of Electronic Engineering, Tsinghua University. He has authored over 60 journal and conference papers. He holds over 20 Chinese patents. His research interests mainly focus on the signal processing technologies for broadband wireless communications, with the emphasis on digital television broadcasting, powerline communications and visible light communications. He received the IEEE Scott Helt Memorial Award (Best Paper Award in IEEE TRANSACTIONS ON BROADCASTING) in 2016.
