Beijing: 15th July 2024: Federal Minister for Planning, Development and Special Initiatives Prof. Ahsan Iqbal met with H.E Mr. Zhao Chenxin, Vice Chairman of NDRC, at NDRC HQ in Beijing today. Both sides reviewed the progress of the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) with an emphasis on ensuring the timely completion of projects and launching an upgraded version of the CPEC as per the agreement reached at the leadership level.
The minister was accompanied by the Ambassador of Pakistan to China H.E. Mr . Khalil Hashmi.
وفاقی وزیر منصوبہ بندی و ترقی پروفیسر احسن اقبال نے بیجنگ میں نیشنل ڈویلپمنٹ اینڈ ریفارم کمیشن (این ڈی آر سی) کے وائس چیئرمین ژاؤ چنکسن سے ملاقات کی اور وزیر اعظم شہباز شریف کے دورہ چین اور مستقبل میں سی پیک 2.0 کی پیش رفت کا جائزہ لینے کے لیے ملاقات کی۔
دونوں فریقین نے CPEC کی پیش رفت کا جائزہ لیا جس میں منصوبوں کی بروقت تکمیل کو یقینی بنانے اور قیادت کی سطح پر طے پانے والے معاہدے کے مطابق CPEC کا اپ گریڈ ورژن شروع کرنے پر اتفاق ہوا۔ وفاقی وزیر کے ہمراہ چین میں پاکستان کے سفیر خلیل ہاشمی بھی موجود تھے۔
