  • Total of 158km pipeline, constructed to channel water from the Shadi Kor and Swad dams. Which has successfully resolved the water scarcity issue for the residents of Gwadar town.

  • Concession Agreement between Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Economic Zone Development and Management Company (KPEZDMC) and China Road & Bridge Corporation (CRBC) was signed in April 2019.
  • The development agreement was signed on 14 Sep 2020 with a development cost of $128 million.
  • Groundbreaking / launching of RSEZ was held on 28th May 2021.
  • Phase-I (247 acres) has been developed and launched for investments. Numerous enterprises have been registered whereas few have started construction of their industrial units.

2 Allama Iqbal Industrial City
  • Groundbreaking of AIIC was held on 3rd January 2020 which was attended by the Prime Minister of Pakistan and development work is in progress.
  • Numerous national and international enterprises have been allotted plots in the SEZ. Few companies have already started construction of their industrial units and expected to initiate operations soon.
