Beijing: 11th July 2013: Federal Minister Prof Ahsan Iqbal addressed the esteemed business community in China, extending a warm invitation to Chinese investors. The Minister highlighted lucrative investment opportunities in the fields of agriculture, minerals, and energy, emphasizing the immense potential for growth and collaboration. 
To facilitate and expedite foreign investment, the Government of Pakistan has established a dedicated Special Coordination Committee Council. This council will play a pivotal role in attracting and supporting international investors seeking to explore the promising landscape of Pakistan. 
During his address, Minister Ahsan Iqbal also shed light on the government's plans to develop housing complex projects under the public-private partnership model. These initiatives specifically aim to cater to the needs of overseas Pakistanis, while simultaneously fostering an environment conducive to increased foreign investment. The Minister highlighted that public-private partnerships are integral to the nation's economic development, and as such, the government is actively working to create a favorable investment climate. 
Moreover, Minister Ahsan Iqbal shared insights into the upcoming phase of the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC). The next phase will focus on promoting robust business-to-business and industrial cooperation. This strategic move reflects the Government of Pakistan's commitment to nurturing mutually beneficial partnerships that drive sustainable growth and foster global connectivity.
